According to myth, Apollo created the constellation Delphinus in honour of Arion, who was saved from drowning by dolphins. In this artistic interpretation, the legendary dolphin becomes a magnificent sea horse, inspired by the celebrated painting Arion on a Sea Horse by William-Adolphe Bouguereau.
